Diplomacy is a primary tool for conducting global politics. By better understanding the practical workings of diplomacy one can capture dynamics of policymaking and, more broadly, international relations.
The protocol is a set of agreed standards derived from international law, diplomacy and national practice that governs relations, privileges and immunities and ensures the effective performance of foreign missions in host states.
The lecture is given by a top level diplomat in the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and will focus on the practical aspects of diplomatic protocol.
