Contractual Terms and Conditions
Metropolitan University Prague (MUP) enters into the following types of study-related contracts: Study Contract concluded between MUP and Students enrolled in Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, or Ph.D. study programmes; Contract on the Administration of Rigorosum Proceedings concluded between MUP and Participants of the Rigorosum Proceedings; and Lifelong Learning Programme Contract concluded between MUP and Participants of the Lifelong Learning Programme. On the grounds of the Decision of Admission to study at Metropolitan University Prague, the applicant may sign the Study Contract. In order to sign the Study Contract, the applicant must provide a copy of a document confirming that the tuition fees were paid.
In order to sign the Study Contract, the applicant has to bring a legally attested (notarised) copy of their high-school leaving certificate (for Bachelor’s Degree applicants) or a legally attested (notarised) copy of their University Diploma (for Master’s Degree applicants). It is not possible to sign the Study Contract without the relevant document! MUP Bachelor’s Degree graduates are not required to submit a copy of their Bachelor’s Diploma. Applicants who graduated from an education institution that is not accredited with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic must also submit a legally attested (notarised) copy of an official recognition of their previous studies (nostrification).
You may sign the Study Contract during the office hours of the Student Services office at MUP Strašnice building in Prague.
The time required for signing the Study Contract and completing all formalities is approximately 30 minutes.
We RECOMMEND you to sign the Study Contract at your earliest convenience, ideally within 14 days from receipt of the Decision of Admission to study.
