Monograph aims to introduce readers to the Israeli business and intellectual property law. To achieve this Israeli legal system is studied from the perspective of legislation and, with regard to its common law nature, case law as well. Content of this monograph is divided into three chapters each focusing on different aspect of the law. The first chapter of this monograph is devoted to historical context of the development of the law in what is now the State of Israel and then the systemic inclusion of Israeli law in an international perspective. The second chapter focuses on business law under which it describes the basics of sub-legal categories such as contractual rights, property law or law of torts. The third chapter then further elaborates on the basics of intellectual property rights. Particular attention is paid to copyright, more generally the law of industrial property and selected torts. The monograph uses methods of analysis in particular with the occasional clarifying of some aspects by using an analogy and comparison especially with the Czech law and the American law.
