Living in Prague
Accommodation
Metropolitan University Prague does not provide students with accommodation. During their studies at MUP, exchange students usually stay at private student residences (dormitories) located in the vicinity of the university buildings or in areas easily accessible by public transport. Other options include renting a studio or a room in dormitories of Prague public universities, or sharing an apartment together with other students.
The average cost per person per month is:
- Public university dormitory (double room) starting from 6000 CZK
- Private student residence (double room) starting from 8850 CZK
- Shared flat (single room, depending on location, probably without utilities) starting from 11000 CZK
