Information
African Studies Centre is an interdisciplinary research centre focused on the latest development dynamics in Africa and its implications for Europe-Africa relations. We understand Africa as a continent, i.e. including the Maghreb region.
What we want to do?
- We want to create a networking platform for academicians and researchers not only from our university but also other universities and research centres across the Czech Republic who focus in their research on various aspects of the current African development.
- We want to actively engage in cooperation with partners from abroad. We believe that sharing our knowledge helps us all grow.
- We want to become a trustful research centre not only for our research or academic partners but also for the public authorities, business, and media with whom we wish to share our knowledge and experience.
